Biography
I'm the founder and CEO of Cartograph, a geospatial data-infrastructure company based in New York. I have a PhD in computer science from MIT (CSAIL, 2018); my dissertation work on learned geospatial indexes was published at VLDB 2018. Before Cartograph I was a senior research scientist on Google's Geo team (2018–2023). I did my undergraduate degree in EECS at UC Berkeley. I live in Brooklyn with my spouse and our two children.
